Pelvic Health Physiotherapy is available face-to-face in our Bibra Lake Clinic for local clients, or via telehealth/online for rural and remote clients or for any women juggling work or family commitments.

Private health insurance rebates are available on all services, please check with your fund for your individual rebates.

Pelvic health physiotherapy is considered an effective, first-line treatment for the many symptoms that women can experience.

  • Let’s chat: We’ll take time to hear your story and understand your needs.

    Assessment: This may include assessing full-body movement, posture, breathing, external physical assessment of the pelvis and spine. An optional internal vaginal or rectal examination or external real-time ultrasound (RTUS) may be performed to assess pelvic floor function.

    Your plan: Together, we’ll create a personalised plan and build your self-management toolkit.

  • For pelvic health issues: Book an Initial Physiotherapy 60min Appointment if you’re new to the clinic. For follow-up visits within the last six months, choose a Review 30min Appointment. If you’re seeing a different physiotherapist or have a complex condition requiring more time, book an Extended Review 45min Appointment.

    For breast-related concerns including mastitis, cracked nipples, or for postpartum perineal care: Book an Initial Ultrasound/Laser 40min Appointment or a Review Ultrasound/Laser 30min Appointment for follow-ups.

  • Yes! There’s no need to cancel your appointment. We’ll discuss what type of examination you’re comfortable with and explore alternatives if needed. For some women, an assessment during their period can actually provide helpful insights when symptoms are at their worst.


  • Yes! After a thorough history and assessment, we will discuss suitability of a vaginal support pessary. Pessaries aren’t suitable for everyone, so your first appointment will focus on determining if this is the right option for you. There’s no pressure to decide on the spot—we’ll guide you through the pros and cons so you can make an informed decision.

    • If you’re new to the clinic: Book a 60-minute Initial Assessment.

    • If you’re a current client: Book a 45-minute Extended Review Appointment.

    When attending, please ensure you arrive with something in your bladder. (Try not to empty it within 30 minutes of your appointment).

    Please note that for NEW clients your assessment will provide you with the opportunity to ask questions to make your decision. Pessaries aren’t suitable for everyone, so your first appointment will focus on determining if this is the right option for you.   • Our expertise is in health for individuals assigned female at birth or those with women’s anatomy.

    For Pelvic Health physiotherapy for male anatomy please reach out and we can put you in contact with a physiotherapist who has the specialist skills to help.
